The EM-Tec Preparation pods and SEM stub stands are designed for secure handling of SEM stubs and to avoid confusion when preparing multiple SEM stubs. For the pin stubs a preparation pod is a necessity to hold the pin stub in the correct position.

For the JEOL and Hitachi cylinder stubs the EM-Tec SEM stub stands probvide a way to handle and transport multiple stubs. The EM-Tec SEM stub stands are also excellent for storing SEM stubs and or SEM holders in a desiccator or other storage location.

There are two type of EM-Tec preparation pods available. They are made from hard anodised aluminum:

• EM-Tec PrepPod horizontal stand for 11 standard pin stubs
• multi-angle EM-Tec PrepPod stand for horizontal, 45° and 90° pin stubs

The EM-Tec SEM stub stands available for all types of SEM stubs. Made from clean aluminium:

• EM-Tec multi stub preparation stand for 28 JEOL 9.5mm stubs
