The EM-Tec replaceable plastic tip tweezers combine the advantages of the soft tip ESD safe tweezers with the firm handles of stainless steel tweezers. The material used for the replaceable plastic tips is the same as for the EM-Tec CT plastic tweezers: ESD safe, tough material with excellent chemical resistance. The handles of the tweezers are the same as for the EM-Tec high precision anti-magnetic tweezers.
ESD safe soft plastic tipped tweezers are ideal for handling scratch sensitive materials such as aluminium, brass, copper and plastics. The softer plastic tips are also better for handling silicon chips or glass to avoid damage and debris. When the tips are worn out or damaged they can be easily replaced with another pair of precision tips, which are separately available.

The ESD safe EM-Tec CT ESD safe replaceable tips are made from PVDF polyvinylidene fluoride and carbon fibre reinforced (30%). This material shares many properties with PTFE. These tips combine excellent mechanical strength and toughness with superb chemical resistance. They are heat stabilised, have a high heat capacity and can be used continuously at temperatures up to 150°C. Fully clean room compatible due to high abrasion resistance with low particle extraction value. Excellent chemical resistance to solvents, mineral oils, halogens, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid. Resistant to UV and nuclear radiation. Fully ESD safe material. The anti-magnetic stainless steel handles provide excellent grip and enables reverse style tipped tweezers as well. Available in 12 different styles, including 3 styles of reversed tweezers to cover a wide variety of applications. For etching applications where the handles of the tweezers can be affected, we advise using the EM-Tec ESD safe plastic tweezers.
